General Overview		Before Joining Rijella was shy and Dedicated to her studies as an Engineer. After Joining she became more outgoing and confident, likely due to the past lives of her Symbiote Nim.

Personal History		Rigella was a young trill whose greatest Ambition was to join starfleet and get away from her family. Before she could join the academy however, Rigella was pressured into joining the Initiate program by her family. Both brothers had failed out of the program and her father pushed her in order to fulfill a family wish to have the next head of the family be joined. Rigella, who was more interested in designing impulse Manifolds and starship hulls, resisted, but eventually caved into the pressure and joined the Initiate program. To her surprise and to the jealous of her Brothers, Rigella was accepted and passed the training process. Despite this, there were no symbiotes available for implantation and Rigella took this opportunity to join Starfleet and get away from her family. Nim had spent lifetimes moving from host to host, and their last three lifetimes were spent in Starfleet. the Politics and bureaucracy back home involving the Symbiosis committee had kept them from returning for more then a few days at a time. Captain Cal Nim however, received the news of his terminal condition, and was faced with a hard choice. If he remained joined, the Symbiote would die with him, but if he released the Symbiote, Nim and his memories would live on in it's next host. While making the tough choice, Nim came across the files of a young Ensign who had passed the Initiate trials, yet had chosen to join Starfleet. Much like he had in this life. He saw much of himself in the girl, and asked for a meeting. Starfleet had to sit in on this meeting, Admiral Kathleen Vance kept her eyes on the sweating Ensign. She would go from the wonders of exploration, to knowing some of Starfleet's dirties Secrets. Admiral Vance was hard pressed at the end of the meeting to agree to this, but felt more reluctant to allow the Symbiotes knowledge to fall to a non Starfleet officer. In the end, Starfleet, and Cal Nim signed off, and the Symbiote was passed to the young Ensign. Captain Cal Nim was Promoted to Admiral with his death, and given the Christopher Pike Medal of Honor for his service throughout his career. Ensign Rijella Nim was promoted six months later to Lt. JG and transferred to her current posting as Chief of Operations. At the time of this posting, Her family has yet to find out this information.
Service Record		The Symbiote Nim served as the last Captain of the USS Lagrange an Intrepid class ship and was highly decorated as a Combat Commander during the Dominion War. Rijella graduated the academy second in her class in Engineering and earned a distinguished academy award for excellence. Ensign Rijella Dolf served aboard the USS Endeavor as an Engineer. Joined with the Nim Symbiote, Rijella would serve another six months on the Rhode Island as a Engineer and as an Operations officer while she adjusted to the joining. Promoted to Lt. JG and transferred to the USS Enterprise F several days prior to launch.
