Hoping for a healthy cub!

Yes yes I know this is not game related but AH WELL!!!

I adore Giant Pandas. I've been to the San Diego zoo to see Bai Yun, Gao Gao many times while living in San Diego and hope that later this summer Bai Yun will get the chance to show what an excellent Momma she is to yet another beautiful little cub.. we're still waiting to learn if Bai Yun is pregnant (Fingers Crossed!)

Earlier today however.. the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington DC posted an ultrasound photo taken today showing a tiny miracle! Mei Xiang is pregnant! There is always the chance with Giant Pandas that the cub will be still born, or else reabsorbed by her body but right now..

I'm thrilled! Got my fingers and toes too crossed hoping and praying for another beautiful, healthy and strong cub to be born sometime in the next 2 weeks! Tai Shai (Mei's first cub) was adorable. Bao Bao (Mei's second cub) is gorgeous ... and won't it be awesome to sit here watching the Panda cam and hear the first cries of a 3rd precious baby soon...
