Here comes Joaquin!

This announcement is being sent in advance of the storm heading our way.

The governor has placed Virginia under an official State of Emergency as it now looks strongly like Hurricane Joaquin is going to come smack us around in a few days.

I've already bought bottled water, filled up the gas cans, checked the oil in the generator and gotten the necessary power cords ready to connect the generator as needed should (when) the power goes out.

So.. just sending this out to say while it's still a few days away.. the weather reports are placing the storm on us here Monday.

Be aware that we might loose internet though I will at least have power to keep the 'fridge going, cook, have lights, etc. :)
