New Mission: "A whole new world"

Posted on Wed Jun 19, 2013 @ 8:18pm by Fleet Captain Rhea Kennit

Mission Summary

The U.S.S. Victory departs from SB900 on a mission of exploration taking the ship and crew into a region of space only recently opened for Federation exploration.

Long range sensors detect a star system which is host to 8 worlds, one of which is identified as Class-M, no indication of advanced civilization present. (ie There are no satellites in orbit, no radio transmissions, no subspace transmissions, etc.)

Arriving in orbit, the planet is found to be in an ice age. Much of the world is locked in ice, with a livable zone with a temperate geography (think the Pacific Northwest region of the United States / Seattle).

A closer scan discovers ruins within the temperate rain forest, and an away team descends to the surface to investigate further.
