Physical Description | Unlike most Klingon hybrids Solayri’s internal structure was pretty much all Orion (copper-based blood chemistry, bone structures and joint structure that provides a wider array of articulation of the limbs and very sturdy plates. chlorophyll in her epidermal layers also affects the way that she gains energy. She has yellow-green skin. Whilst she still relies on the consumption of food and drink orally to gain nourishment and has highly efficient intestines with which to absorb the nutrients from food, her digestive tract is an inefficient means of getting energy. Whilst the energy gained from her epidermal chlorophyll is converted handily into sugars stored in the muscles, the sugars created from food consumption were primarily used to sweeten the production of sweat, which in turn makes other beings more susceptible to her pheromone production, due to the sweet aroma her body produces.). The only indications of her Klingon heritage are the cranial region which possesses small striking sagittal crests and the typical Klingon teeth; two sharp fangs (incisors) with sharpened teeth. Her twin sister being more like their father, with yellow-red skin. Despite being a tall, slender woman, her body is tightly packed and thus she is heavier than she looks, much to her annoyance. But she is a strong, fit young woman, as her time in the gym shows. |

Personality & Traits
General Overview | Solayri is a quiet, focused individual at first glance. But as one works to get to know her, and it can be quite the task if she does not like you, Solayri is found to be rather warm and trusting. She enjoys the solitude of a quiet cabin but can also be found in the ship’s library, calmly devouring a book. She truly believes that rules and regulations are important, and that if you follow the rules, then everything will work out, since that's what the rules are there for. She can be at times a little direct, showing flashes of anger if people slack off or flaunt the laws, and this points to her internal struggle. She is constantly fighting back anger and other strong emotions, as her Klingon blood boils. When faced with a challenge, the first instinct is always to attack, to fight, and she must fight it down every time. While she had grown to accept a lot of her Klingon heritage over the years, there were still aspects of herself that she does not like. There are two things specifically that she wishes she could get rid of if she could. First her anger. As a generally nonviolent person, the desire to smash a console when something goes wrong or break the face of someone being truly annoying both frustrates and scares her. It frustrates her because that isn’t the person she is or wants to be and scares her because she has lost control once before and seriously hurt a child. The other one is far more embarrassing for her and relates to the more intimate aspects of relationships, specifically the more…animalistic side that it brings out of her. The first time she had growled at a boy she had liked and had “looked at him like he was lunch” as he had told her was still one of the most embarrassing things she had experienced.
Strengths & Weaknesses | Str – Incredible Intelligent Str- Incredible Strong Weak – Easily frustrated when something goes wrong, to the point of anger and violence Weak – When someone is truly annoying easily frustrated to the point of anger and violence Weak – Has to use a Deltan medication to diminish her pheromonal effect (administered via small dosages in her food through custom programing of her replicator and once a month hypospray injections (at start of her menses cycle). Weak – Pheromonal effects are particularly strong on Klingon males and Klingon male hybrids. Weak – Particularly animalistic when it comes to those she is attracted to (minimized by the Deltan Pheromonal medication). |

Personal History | Solayri D’ghacta was born on Nisus, main Nisus Scientific Colony, a neutral planet where Federation, Klingon, Romulan, and Orion scientist collaborate on peaceful scientific pursuits. Her father, Korsal D’ghacta, is a full Klingon trained in Hydrology and Hydrological Engineering. He is the head of the hydroelectric power plant for the colony. Her mother, Seela D’ghacta, is a housewife, though holds a Ph.D. in xenobiology, she is Korsal’s second wife. Seela is a proud wife and mother/stepmother; having raised Korsal’s children to be productive citizens. Solayri was raised to respect both her parents' cultural beliefs and customs, as well as those of the Federation. She attended one of the most difficult primary schools, next to Vulcan schools, Nisus Advanced STEM school. She studied hard in pre-medical courses. She then applied and was excepted to the Tri-Planetary Academy, studying and earning degrees in Biology/Xenobiology (B.Sc.), Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (B.Sc.) and earning a Master of Medical Sciences in Clinical Investigation. After completion Solayri applied for and was excepted to Harvard University (Medical) earning her M.D.'s in General Internal Medicine, Hospital Medicine, and Aerospace Medicine. After completion a Starfleet Recruitment Officer convinced Solayri to apply to Starfleet Academy, specifically the Marine Corps track. Intrigued by the challenge this represented she applied and was excepted. She earned M.D.'s in Emergency Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Surgical Critical Care. After graduation she was assigned to the USS Yellowstone's Marine detachment for her cadet cruise. She then received orders for the USS Galatea's Marine Corps detachment. She then was assigned as assistant chief medical officer, a surprise to her, on the USS Sarajevo. Doctor Solayri D’ghacta has now been promoted and reassigned to the USS Victory as the Chief Medical Officer. She was chosen for this position because of her unique position as a Marine Corps Doctor and having served as an assistant chief medical officer aboard a Federation starship.
