| Personal History | At the age of eight, Markus received word that his parents had both perished in an accident and he found himself orphaned. He was relocated from Earth to Alpha Centauri, where his Uncle's family lived. He was raised there by his Uncle and Aunt and by the time he entered secondary school considered himself a Centaurian rather than a Terran. Like his Uncle and his parents, he signed up for Starfleet when he was of age, and went to the academy. His aptitude scores suggested security, which he trained for and graduated with honors. After serving a year on the Yorktown he found that he had more passion about flying ships than carrying a phaser, and transferred to Command as an FCO. |
