View Award - Golden Starburst
The Golden Starburst is awarded for extraordinary heroism, not justifying the award of a Federation Star or Starfleet Medal of Honor, to any person who, while a member of Starfleet engaged in military operations involving conflict with an opposing foreign force against an enemy of the Federation. The act of or acts of heroism must have been so notable and have involved risk of life so extraordinary as to set the individual apart from his or her comrades.
