"Lieutenant T'Mira Personal log.
It has been a long day. There is, what Human's call, a buzz going on with the crew about leaving. The last of the crew should be on board soon. I have cleaned and organized my office and my quarters to my liking. I have shed all diversion quarter wise preferring to keep minimalist decor. I must say that I am rather frustrated at the fact that I have been lax in my Vulcan ways. I have begun to assimilate into the crew and am not sure about anything or for that matter, if I am assimilating in the correct fashion."
T'Mira sighed as she sipped her peppermint tea.
" My mind is occupied today. I have tried to meditate yet am unable to. I keep thinking of my encounter with Ambassador Tokai on Andelia some weeks ago.
I was searching for him as the recess called to the negotiations was set to end and I found him on the Andelian holodeck. He was at what he called the Forge. He was attempting to make an object out of something he called Damascus Steel, a metal with quite a wonderful cascading coloration."
Unconsciously she fanned herself feeling as if the room heated.
"I found my eyes drawn to him as he worked surrounded by the fire. I found it... captivating to watch him work using the hammer to shape his project. The Anddelian's although advanced like to build and I see that the Ambassador does as well. I was afraid to interrupt but I did and we returned to the negotiating table where the Ambassador won his negotiation. I find that I cannot...push my mind from the Forge. It was... what Human's call mesmerizing.
The ambassador and I have been working together for some time. Since we have been back at Starbase as well and now that we are embarking on a new mission on he Victory. I believe that my feelings for him are confusing. I plan to seek help. Perhaps...Camille?

She stood up and paced. She needed to get her mind off of the Ambassador and meditate. Perhaps that would help.
