Mission:
Nibiru
Location: Camille's/Nicole's Quarters
Nicole rubbed her neck as she walked to her quarters. Camille had messaged her saying she was involved in a project and would be home soon, so Nicole decided to get a sonic shower in and freshen up before they settled in for the evening.
She opened the door to her quarters and stepped inside, then stopped as she realized she was standing in a cloud. "What the..." she tapped her combadge quickly. "Anderson to Engineering: there's an environmental issue in my quarters."
"Belay that, Engineering," came another voice within the mist. "Everything is fine. Anderson's quarters out." The channel closed before the voice began again. "Kic'blu la’, t’hy’la," she said with a giggle.
"Quelqu'un a étudié," Nicole said, grinning and stepping into the room, the door closing behind her.
In the middle of the cabin, Camille sat very comfortably in a hot bath, one large enough to accommodate multiple people. Jets inside the water generated bubbles, which were soothing against her skin and her ears. The heat combined with the moisture made the room steamy. A platform of cherrywood surrounded the hot tub, offering a place to sit as one got in or out.
Camille's uniform lay neatly folded on a chair nearby, her glasses on top of the pile.
She reached a hand in Nicole's general direction. "Rom khru, ashayam," said said, her Rigelian heavily accented, she was sure, but hopefully comprehensible.
Nicole grinned wider. "You are so adorable, right now," she said, leaning her elbows on the edge of the cherrywood dais. "So how did you manage this?"
"I've been playing with the holo-emitters in here," Camille explained. "And I've been learning a bit of Rigelian. Now, eitau eh k'vath matuhlek." She smiled at her linguistic skills, and hoped her love appreciated the effort.
Nicole snickered. "Close," she said, quickly shucking her clothes and stepped up onto the dais and then stepped into the pool. She sighed as the water rose up around her as she sank down beneath the surface. She came back up and smoothed her hair back, purring happily. "You're brilliant, you are," she said, beaming with happiness. She sat down next to Camille. "You're going to give the others ideas," she said, grinning and kissing Camille.
She grabbed Camille's hips and pulled her in, spinning her around and pulling them close, wrapping her arms around the other woman. "We have to figure out how to do this back on the Victory. I could get way too used to this."
Her hair in a bun and out of Nicole’s face, Camille lay comfortably in Nicole’s lap, her head leaning back into her lover’s shoulder. Nicole’s arms were wrapped around her waist, her own hands on top of Nicole’s. She closed her eyes as she enjoyed a moment of pure bliss. “I have the holo program. We just need holo emitters in my quarters. Or yours. Or ours.”
"I'll have to speak with the Captain about bigger quarters...and waterproofing the floor," Nicole said, her hands working their way up to Camille's neck, working the muscles gently as she kissed Camille's ear."
"Something I noticed," Camille said as she lay comfortably. "This is by far the most diverse Starfleet ship I've ever been on. I tried looking up the personnel files, to learn a bit more about where people came from, but most of them are restricted."
Nicole's hands froze and she stiffened slightly. "Who...did you look up?" she said.
"Basically everyone. About half the crew is non-Terran, which is a huge proportion. Meesa, Jasmine, Cassandra, you, I think Amber and Tommy Gun," Camille listed. "For Terrans, there was really just John, Tiffany, and Penny. And me, I suppose, if you count me among the crew yet."
Nicole licked her lips, her arms instinctively wrapping back around Camille protectively. "Well, technically you aren't part of the crew, you're a guest, so perhaps Lieutenant Hunter has your access restricted for some reason," she deflected.
"You're probably right," Camille agreed. "You know I love learning about new life and new people. Jasmine is fascinating! And I've never met an Orion quite like Meesa. And I'm not crazy in thinking that Amber is telepathic, right? That was her probing my mind when I met her, during the hazing?"
"You are most definitely not crazy," Nicole said, her hands wandering back down and her lips moving along Camille's neck, giving her mind something to focus on. "You are brilliant...clever...beautiful...." her hands continued to wander, drawing Camille's attention away from her thoughts at to the present.
Camille moaned as Nicole kissed and touched her. "You're making it very difficult to talk about interesting biology, mon amour," she observed with a smile. "Amber. What species is she? How strong is her telepathy? And what about Tommy? He's Iotian, right?"
"Oui," Nicole said, her nimble fingers finding their quarry.
The Québécoise sucked in air sharply as Nicole found some new place to touch. "Câlisse, you make it hard to focus. Not that I'm complaining."
"Then focus on me," Nicole whispered in her ear.
"We'll continue this conversation later," Camille affirmed. "Don't think we won't. But in the meantime, estuhl kotik eh ko-lok. Tanilau sanosh. Sanu," she pleaded.
"As you wish," Nicole said, smiling and slipping back below the surface of the water, happily directing her love's attention elsewhere.
