Mission:
Nibiru
Location: Sickbay
Walker showed up at noon. He was walked into Sickbay and went right to the Doctor's office. He was a little stiff and his back itched.
Nicole was sitting in her office, going over the duty roster when the chime to her door sounded. "Enter," she said without looking up.
Walker grinned. "You wanted to see me after our fun last night."
"If that's what you call 'fun'," Nicole said, airily. "I was too busy grunting, gasping and being tossed around to really enjoy myself too much." She stood up and gestured to the door, ushering him into an exam room.
Walker followed her into the exam room, "How did you get to claw my back like that?" As soon as he was in the exam room, he took off his uniform top. Then he took off his undershirt. There was scabbing, but underneath the scab there was already new skin. Considering the original depth of the claw marks, he was healing very well.
"I keep them regulation short, but personally sharp," Nicole quipped.
"I so very much considered that fun," Walker said. "I'm sorry you didn't." He was choosing his words carefully. He was on duty/call.
"It wasn't all bad, I just wasn't prepared for that weapon you pulled out. It was a bit more than I could handle."
Walker grinned, "I like them." He motioned to his back. "It itches."
"Not surprising, considering all the new skin," she said, grabbing an analgesic cream and applying it. "Sorry again." She cleaned her hands and observed his wounds carefully. "Bruising is healing. You have an impressive recovery rate, as I already know. Have you always had that kind of stamina?"
Walker laughed, "Since birth, sort of. It changed at puberty. I'm not sorry you clawed up my back. In fact, I was ready to go again five minutes later."
"So I noticed," Nicole said, scanning him again. The parallels were making her slightly uncomfortable, but she pushed it aside. "It's not often I say this, but I was genuinely afraid I wouldn't be able to keep up with you. It's not often I find someone who can wear me out that quickly." She picked up a sample case, fitting a vial to an extractor. "I am going to need that blood sample, by the way. Tilt your neck, please."
Walker tilted his neck, "Klingon oomph, Vulcan focus, and Human Ingenuity can do wonders for endurance, stamina, and recovery. You want to go again. I will let you play with my war club. You know you liked it."
Nicole smirked. "I'll deny it if you ever tell Camille, but it was pretty impressive. But I think i did a rather good job swinging it around. Not my first one, you know." She pulled the now filled vial and placed it in a specimen tray, setting up a second one. "As for Klingon 'oomph', whatever that is, try to keep it under control. You almost put me through the wall a couple of times."
Walker grinned, "I got so excited when you charged me like an animal. When we hit that mat, I got excited. Normally, my control is better than that, but you just twisted my arm. You wanted to do it on the mat, so we did it on the mat. I have never had anyone put me on my back and mount me like that or that fast."
Nicole blushed. It had been hard to contain herself after they'd gotten started. Then again, self control had never been her strong suit. She just hoped she hadn't given anything away. "Well I'm glad the Klingon in you appreciates a formidable onslaught," she said. She placed the second sample in the tray and swabbed his cheek, adding that to her container. "Any muscle discomfort?" she said, going back to clinical mode.
Walker grinned, "Not anymore. How did you like it when I found that spot with my fingers?"
Nicole put her arm over her abdomen reflexively. "That was not fair," she said. "Your knowledge of nerve clusters and pressure points shouldn't be allowed. Screamed so loud I thought the holodeck would explode." She grumbled and put her instruments down. "You should have told me you were skilled in jujitsu. I wouldn't have held back, not to mention watched your hands.
Walker grinned, "Kosho Shorei Ryu Jujitsu requires you train in ten different disciplines just to earn your status. My fingers are magic . Your teeth and fingernails are more magic. By the Gods."
Nicole raised an eyebrow. "You say magic, I say sharp. Both work. But the next time you invite me to spar, at least set the ground rules beforehand," she said, folding her arms. "Now, lie back because we have about a dozen more tests to run before I let you back on duty."
As he laid back she mentally kicked herself for even agreeing to it. She hadn't planned on fighting him, just getting her hand-to-hand combat re-certification done. *The joy of a new ship and crew,* she thought. She still wasn't sure how to take his unusual approach to phrasing things, but she was beginning to speak his language. It was a language that was going to get him smacked at some point, but at least she could interpret.
Once his physical was completed, he shook her hand, offered a rematch again and left. Nicole breathed a sigh of relief, stretched her shoulder and returned to her duties.
