At first, if you were in the ‘Write Mission Post’ page at Nova and you click Save, it will overwrite anyone else's post even if they have saved it and it already e-mailed to the group. For this reason, the developers added a new feature called ‘Post Locking’.

Post Locking prevents other group members from being able to access a saved Joint Post while another player is actively editing or updating the document. You will see a small lock icon next to the post in the Control Panel. Hovering the mouse over the icon will display a small pop-up message telling you who is currently editing the document and how long they have been working on the indicated post.

When you go into the main page of your Control Panel...

Clicking the ‘Control Panel’ link from the top menu takes you to the man Admin Control Panel. Here you will see a number of informational items such as:

  1. Notifications - This tells you how many saved posts are currently pending which your character(s) are involved in.
  1. Unread Private Messages - If there is a message waiting in your inbox, you’ll see a notification here to let you know.
  1. Click on ‘Writing Control Panel’ from the menu to the left to access the current saved joint posts or to start a new mission post or personal log.
  1. Alternatively, you can simply click on ‘Write Mission Post’ or ‘Write Personal Log’
  1. New posts will be indicated with a green dot icon next to them marking those which you are involved in that have been updated since your last edit.
  1. ALWAYS save the post e-mails until you're sure all the posts have been saved and not accidentally overwritten. It might not hurt to set up a folder and filter all JPs you're involved in to that folder and keep them until the post is released.




Viewing Saved Posts

If you just want to view a saved post, you don't have to go into the Writing Control Panel for that.

Go to the Menu in your Admin CP Scroll to Mission Posts Click on Mission Posts Click on Saved Posts Tab Click on the Magnifying Glass icon next to the post you want to view
