Askimi Civilization - Centurion Model 005

The Centurion 005 was developed by the Askimi to be durable, dependable, and strong. Originally developed to perform dangerous tasks such as mining as a means of preserving life, it wasn't long before the designers of the first Centurion models began adding additional functionality to allow the Centurions to be used for combat purposes.

The need to create a functional warrior meant coding into each unit a self-preservation matrix, in other words, they gave the Centurion's a survival instinct.

The first combat model was 6' 8" tall, bipedal, with marginal dexterity allowing it to use basic weapons and tools depending on the task assigned by it's controllers.

It's most prominent feature is the single, glowing amber 'eye' which bounces back and forth as it scans the area around the unit and analyzes the data regarding it's surroundings.


It's outer armor is of a high tensile strength composite metal, while it's internal components rather than being metal and computer parts are in fact, bio-engineered biological nerve clusters, tissue, and specialized colorless 'blood' which carries nutrients to the nerve fibers to keep the unit operational.
