A Time To Remember

Location: Chris's cabin

Aidan wasn't sure how he had fallen for Chris. especially so quickly. But he had and there wasn't too much that he could do to reverse it, nor did he really want to. The only thing he could do, at least in his mind, is to pursue it and see where it led. With no real agenda in mind, but hoping that the other man had gotten enough rest to spend some time with him. He'd made a quick stop at his cabin to change into jeans and a gray tee shirt and now was in front of the engineer's door. He pressed the chime and waited.

Chris was following doctors orders and resting. He was laying down reading, shirtless and in a pair of pajama pants when the chime rang. He was hoping it was Aidan and with a happy note to his voice he said "Come in"

Aidan walked into the room and upon seeing Chris shirtless, the smile he was wearing grew a little wider. It wasn't that he hadn't seen him shirtless, or for that matter more than just shirtless, he just enjoyed the view, "You're looking a little better than earlier, how are you feeling now?"

"Much better now that you are here" he said with a smile. The truth of the matter is that since he had gotten a little more rest and in his quarters, he was feeling better. It was also nice seeing Aidan's smile.

"Can I fix you something to eat, bring you a drink, help you out of your pants, you know anything to help?" Aidan asked.

Chris laughed and then clutched his stomach in pain. "Don't make me laugh silly" he was trying hard not to be a wimp "how about you just come here and kiss me"

"Kiss you? Oh, that I can do. I'm pretty good at kissing, at least kissing you," he said then went over and proved it by kissing Chris deeply.

Aidan's kiss must have made Chris forget about the pain. He grabbed Aidan and pulled him on top of him while kissing and pain shot through his abdomen "Shit! Guess I shouldn't have done that" he said and moved over so Aidan could cuddle in on the sofa.

Aidan was surprised when Chris pulled him down on top of him both because of the suddenness of it and because it was not a position he was used to with the other man. His' eyes clouded over with concern as he saw his lover wince in pain and heard his words.

He relaxed a little when Chris moved over so they could lay side by side on the couch. Aidan kissed his shoulder,"Let's not try anything too strenuous right now, "he suggested,"I do like just cuddling you know."

Chris smiled "Sounds like a plan. I like cuddling with you babe."

As Aidan snuggled against Chris, careful not to aggravate the other man's injuries he said, "Can I ask you something?"

"Sure!" he said and leaned over and kissed Aidan's forehead. "You can ask me anything babe"

"Well, we've been seeing a lot of each other lately, I was wondering if you, you knew wanted to move in together."

Chris smiled and excitedly asked "do you think we are ready for that?"

"I don't know, I think so. We can try it for a while and see if we like it. I mean, if you're okay with that."

Chris smiled and leaned over and kissed Aidan "Let's give it a try sexy."

Aiden smiled in return, "You're pretty sexy yourself. Tonight I just want to hold you, be with you. But tomorrow, if you're up to it, maybe we could, you know, fool around?"

Chris smiled and reached up and kissed Aidan.

"I think I love you Chris," Aidan said.

Chris smiled even bigger "Love ya too Aidan"

Aiden snuggled even closer, "It's been a long time since I've heard that Chris. But it was worth the wait."
