Mission:
Plaga Navis
Location: USS Victory
After leaving the briefing room, the Captain stalked down the corridor in a fairly irked state of mind. Not for the first time, she wondered why she stayed in Starfleet. The galaxy was a big place. She could easily just..disappear..
From behind her came an unwelcome voice. “I need to talk to you. Avoiding me isn’t going to change things. Eventually you have to stop running away.”
She stopped in her tracks, turning toward the speaker. If he had an ounce of common sense in him, Nathan would have shut up right then and there. But. While a great many accurate statements could be made about Nathan Torrance, that he possessed common sense was not one of them. “Oh..so you can still hear. That’s an improvement.”
Crossing her arms across her torso, she stared at him. “What do you want Nathan.” A statement. Not a question.
“I want to know what’s going on with the research into that virus..” he started. “I want to know how long I’m going to be keep on this ship. I want to know why you’re not allowing me to do a damn thing but sit and wait and I want to know why you are going to such lengths to avoid me”
“Where is the base where the others from your universe are now operating from?” Kennit asked.
“Kesīr jī arlī.” Nathan muttered.
Speaking in the same language, the Captain responded in a heated tone “Gaomagon daor rhaenagon lēda nyke Nathan.” Kennit said. “ Nyke ziry skori vestan nektogon hen aōha orvorta se‘y naejot ao raw lo ao indigon!”
“Don’t you threaten me..” Torrance retorted, only to be cut off with a blistering retort from the Captain, spoken still in that other language which only the two of of all those on the Victory could understand. The argument continued, spoken in a language which the computer could not translate.l. Both of them fired up and neither one backing down.
Kennit was certain he knew at least where some of his counterparts, fellow refugees from the Mirror Universe had settled, while Torrance was equally adamant that he was unaware of the location she sought.
