Writing an encoded message without making it blanently apparent to anyone who might interecept said message was never an easy task. She wanted to get the message sent out shortly however, so that it would be included in the next packet of data transmitted out to the communications hub where it would remain in the que until such time as the proper authorization codes were sent to release it to its intended reciepent.

My dear Jericho,

Your last message makes you seem so tired and weary. (Are you in immediate danger?) I fear you have been away from home for far too long, and I know that even the neighbors miss your cheerful voice around town, especially your home-brew moonshine..

I will soon be departing home myself, finally going to take that trip which I bored you so many evenings with discussions and planning .. (U.S.S. Voyager on standbye awaiting extraction coordinates to depart DS-9 upon receipt) I am finally going to leave home and see the sights! I only wish you could be here to join me, I promise you would find the actual trip far more interesting than trying to stay awake listening to me talk about it! However, I understand your desire to return home to the bayou and perhaps a break from such matters will do your weary soul good.. (Resignation noted and, regretfully accepted.)

I hope our paths will cross again soon, until that time I remain forever your dear friend,

Kathryn

Kudos! Great post. I'll have to see when/how Jericho could receive it. :-)

Guess we know where he sauntered off to during the last time they were docked.
