Mission: Silence
Location: Moon surface
Timeline: Tbd"

[Shuttle Tydirium]

"Captain, we are on final approach to the drop point. Are you certain you want to try this." At the helm of the sleek Valkyrie shuttle, Lt. Sullustan "Sully" Nunb craned his head around to look back into the passenger compartment of the ship where the Captain was standing, gazing intently at a sensor display showing considerable detail of the jungle flashing past beneath them. The sensors indicated more structures, now hidden in the dense growth.. the scientist she had once been was reawakened, curiosity burning in the back of her mind as she watched the live data feed scroll past, everything scanned being recorded for later in-depth analysis. "A quick drop versus a 3 and a half klick hike through rough terrain in that heat and humidity?" she replied. "Oh yeah! I'm sure!"

Lt. Nunb gave a quick, "Aye Captain. In that case, we will be over the drop coordinates in 3 minutes."

Turning toward Major Prime, the Captain said "You heard the man, let's get ready.."

Music was blaring through the passenger compartment, a version of mid-20th century rock and roll, it was common practice for Abbot's men, they used it as both a calming and adrenaline boosting mechanism. Abbot nodded in acknowledgment, turning to his Marines "Three minutes!" He made a circle motion in the air followed by a neck slash with his finger. Sergeant Maly silenced the music in response as the rest of the Marines finished their final once-over on their equipment.

Giving her harness a quick check to make certain the clasps were secure, the Captain picked up her weapons from where she'd stowed her gear, a standard hand phaser she secured to her belt, a phaser rifle with a modified sensor unit mounted on its upper rail, and last but not least- a weapon belt with a .45 cal revolver and additional ammunition clips for reloading added to her belt.

The Major strolled passed each of his Marines making his way to the hatch, tapping with his fist the chest and back of each Marine, one final check before dropping to the surface. He turned to find the Captain face to face with him.

Taking position at the hatch, once Lt. Nunb gave the okay, Kennit connected her harness to a drop-line and then depressed the over-ride control and opened the hatch. A wave of hot, humid air blasted in through the opening. Below, the open stone courtyard where they had entered the city was waiting. "See you on the ground.." and with that, the Captain stepped out and dropped. Kennit tripped the disconnect three feet above the paving stones and landed with expert ease, phaser rifle held ready, sweeping the entrance leading into the city with the scanner running.

Abbot peered out of the hatch watching the Captain repel to the ground below, his men were up and waiting in a single file line. "Once we hit the ground I want a 3 meter spread, no sound." With that he secured his helmet the heat and humidity was quickly erased, the holo based Heads-Up-Display began registering and transmitting data immediately, he looked down at his men one by one as they dropped from the shuttle in timed intervals to allow each Marine time to clear the other, as the last one exited the shuttle he began a silent count down, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, one hand holding the line head high, the other just below his waist he followed suit and dropped from the shuttle. Perfectly timed he disconnected his repel line dropping to the stones below, his Marines had already broken off into two 3 man single file patrols. He moved past the Captain unslinging his rifle from his back sweeping his surroundings top to bottom left to right, it was quiet and appeared to be all clear.

"I have the initial readings taken by Commander Torres." the Captain stated. "The away team, was to investigate the power source and hopefully locate the transmitter which is sending that signal. Which means the away team should have gone this way..". Setting out, she walked without hesitation toward the entrance and passed through into the shadows of the first hall where the carved writings were first noted. "According to the Commander's scans, there are passageways leading down to the power source this way.."

Tight formation in two single file lines they moved deep into the corridor until it finally split into separate tunnels. Light was barely visible at this point. Their helmets adjusted to night vision as the Major moved to the lead. He turned to the Captain as she made her way to the front as well. "I'm guessing your team split up to cover more ground." He motioned for Maly. "Sergeant, two teams, Corporal Clemmer and PFC Bell will stay with the Captain and I, the rest with you." Looking back to the Captain. "Any luck re-establishing communication?"

"There is interference from the mineral content of the stone." Kennit answered. "However, they should have followed the information provided by the surface scams taken by Cmdr. Torres. Which means, we go this way..". With a nod, she led the way heading down a sloping passageway that traveled deeper into the mountainside..

The temperature grew cooler as they moved deeper, likely part of the reason for the construction of the complex so deep into the mountain. A sound reached them, an eerie keening cry. Kennit turned toward the Major, her expression questioning where or not he heard it as well.

Abbot held his fist in the air for his team to stop. "Pri...e t... Maly." "...aly here, go ahead Major." As the two teams moved further apart the mineral content in the stones began disrupting their communications as well. "...... are get.... strang.... sounds ov.... here, report." "We are pic.... up som...th...ng ...oo" The Major paused peering down the tunnel, straining, listening for anything else.

Following that unidentified sound came a far more familiar one, phaser fire!

The unmistakable sound echoed through both tunnels. Major Prime shouted one last order through the comm. which came through loud and clear. "Move! Double time!"

The corridor split at a point approximately 60 meters down the way, branching out into three different directions. The left two side passageways, moved away into the darkness traveling straight but the right side passageway slanted down, turning as it disappeared into the darkness. Holding up one hand to indicate that the group with her should halt, the Captain paused to look at the options before them, and study the sensor readings which Torres had taken. "The data is inconclusive.. it's likely that the away team split into two groups here.. one taking the right and the other following this corridor to the left, there are recent scuff marks on the stone.."

A sudden sharp, piercing cry echoed back from somewhere ahead in the darkness.. the Captain recognized that voice.."That's Doctor Anderson!" She broke into a sprint, following the sound with weapon drawn.. (arrival will take place below within the section for Torres' group)

Team Torres

Looking around at the dense webbing, Sam said "I don't think we're going the right way..."

Miguel's eyes were better suited to seeing what was happening even without the assistance of his light. But there was something unnatural about this darkness. Even he was having problems seeing at a distance in here.

Cass' violet irises disappeared as a pink miasma obscured them. She immediately whipped around and thrust out a hand. A violet pentagram appeared and whipped around into a ball of orange flame which shot down the path they'd come, setting the strands of web on fire, lighting the way. The shadows disappeared, a few seemed to scurry, but the way back was illuminated.

"Run!" she shouted, now at the front as she charged forward, heading back to the other team.

The instant increase of light had surprised him, however he used it to look as far ahead as he could as the webs caught on fire. He was slowly backing up but still facing ahead so he could see anything that might become visible in the light.

Sam needed NO encouragement! She whirled and bolted away from the flames which hissed as the fire spread, a sharp and pungent odor filled the narrow confines of the space from the smoke and fumes of the blazing webbing,.

Miguel didn't need to guess what that... smell was. He knew it well... burnt flesh. Even as he continued to follow the others he looked behind him until he saw the large shadow move towards them. No, not move towards them. It was for all intense and purposes running... Running on 8 huge legs. "MOVE... MOVE... MOVE!!!!" he yelled as he picked up his own pace and started to divide his attention between those in front of him and what was closing in on them from behind. He also needed a place where they could at least defend themselves from this thing.

Nicole glanced over her shoulder and saw something large and dark, like a moving shadow, bearing down on her. *The more things change,* she thought. She reached into her bag and pulled out her stunner, firing over her shoulder repeatedly. Her eyes blazed red, her hair began to curl and her fangs extended as she prepared for a fight.

Penny was second from the end and while she trusted Nicole to bring up the rear she watched the others as they ran and kept an eye out for anything trying to jump at them. She was glad she had her eyes open as Samantha stumbled and almost went face-first into the floor. During the moment that the lieutenant's momentum slowed and her trajectory tilted to the floor, Penny immediately calculated the vectors and veered slightly to the left, increasing her velocity enough that she could grab Sam by the back of her uniform and haul her up, forcing her to keep pace. "Gotcha," she said, helping the other girl steady herself as they ran.

Suddenly a set of piercing cries assaulted her ears. "I think we're close, but that was--" her voice was drowned out as the creature behind them let out a similar scream of fury and charged faster.

"What was that!?" Raylen asked, wide eyed. "That didn't sound at all friendly!"

Cassandra lit up another stretch of corridor and shadows flew back into openings in the wall. As they raced down, her brow furrowed. "I don't recognize this corridor!" she shouted over her shoulder.

"This isn't the way we came!" Penny said. She looked around, trying to see anything that looked familiar, and realized that the pattern of the vines and moss on some of the walls didn't match other sections. "I think these walls are mobile!" she shouted.

"We've taken a wrong turn more likely.." Sam said. "Stone doesn't move..."

Nicole, still bringing up the rear, was attempting to open her bag in order to procure a disruptor when she felt a stinging pain across her back. She screamed as a firey streak of pain followed and realized the creature had gotten close enough to slash at her. She fell to the ground with a thud, her torch spinning out of her hand, landing on a slightly raised stone. As her weight pressed on it, a section of wall near her to swung out, cutting her, and the monster, off from the group, but leaving her without backup.

"Doc!!" Sam cried out, too late as the heavy door triggered by the stone closed with a thud which shook the ground under their boots. "Shit!" Sam barked out, sweeping her own torch across the floor and walls she said, "There has to be a second trigger stone...find it!"

Penny skidded to a halt as the noise in the corridor suddenly died down. They were walled off now, and the fire was dwindling, but giving them just enough illumination to see by. Penny walked up to the newly positioned wall and slipped her silver wand out of her sleeve, scanning the wall quickly. "It's real stone," she said. "Nothing sophisticated, and no computer components I can find, just a simple trigger and release." She scanned around the area. "The stone's most likely in the floor on the side." She began walking back and forth across the hall, stepping on each stone.

----

On the other side of the massive stone door, Nicole found herself staring at a 2.92m tall insect. It chattered at her, having backed away from the spinning light cast by her dropped torch.

More lights danced from down the passageway, and upon seeing the massive 8-legged insect Kennit said, "Oh shit!"

Nicole hissed in pain as she tried to let her body heal and get her feet together beneath her. As the giant bug turned around, Nicole grabbed her bag and leaned down toward it, praying she'd be heard above the creature's screams.

Raising her phaser, the Captain fired on the immense bug threatening her Chief Medical Officer. This proved to be not quite as wise a decision as emotional response first indicated. Mostly it seemed to really, seriously, piss off the massive eight-legged insect. The creature turned, mandibles gnashing with a loud, grinding sound before it sprinted forward toward the newly arrived irritations causing the jangling pain singing through it's nerve clusters.

"Back!!" Kennit ordered, her voice calm and completely in control as she allowed the phaser to drop and drew the .45 from the holster at her hip. A phaser's energy beam had not seemed to do more than anger the insect.

With a sharp, deafening roar that echoed through the stone chamber the Captain fired the archaic but still very effective handgun.

The reaction was immediate, the giant bug let out a keening cry as its charge changed to a rough stagger. It tried to retreat, moving back toward where the doctor still laying on the paving stones. Thick dark colored fluid spilling from the wounds inflicted by the Captain's shots, some of the viscous ichor splatting across the Doctor as she tried to move clear.

Nicole was trying not to retch as the liquid sprayed her, when the creature suddenly let loose another spray of black liquid from its abdomen. She screamed as the red-hot liquid burned her skin and suddenly found the left side of herself anchored to the floor, glued in place. Her eyes glowed red and her fangs extended as she growled, furious and reached into her bag, pulling out a bright, sharp blade. She reached back as best she could with her side weighed down and launched it with as much force as she could muster.

The knife shot out like a dart and because she was under the creature already, there was nothing but soft, exposed underbelly for her to hit. The knife went clean in, dropping more blood on the floor and lodging in the creature's head. It let out a piercing scream, then collapsed in front of her, twitching spasmodically.

Cautious, weapon held at the ready without taking her eyes off the bug the Captain said, "Major Prime, secure the space!"

Abbot ordered his Marines into a defensive formation and made a quick survey of the rest of the room. Getting a nod from his men Abbot turned to the Captain. "We have the room secured."

Following the Majors swift directions, the Marine officers made quick work of securing the chamber while the Captain approached the Doctor, still pinned o the paving stones by the thick, sticky mass which the insect had sprayed at her. "How ya doing there Doc?" The Captain asked. "I only left you guys alone down here for a little while.."

Nicole was seething in pain. The chemicals in the compounds were neutralizing, but her skin was still sizzling from exposure. Half her hair and face were burned, but she'd managed to protect her eyes, and her uniform was tearing quickly. She growled at the Captain, but it came out almost a whimper as she focused her energy on trying to heal.

Muffled sounds drifted though the closed door, indicating where the rest of the away team led by Cmdr Torres could be found. Assuming the door could easily be opened. For the moment, the first priority was getting Dr. Anderson free from the mess she was in.

Abbot knelt beside the doctor trying to assess what kind of substance had her locked to the ground cautious not to touch it himself. "Don't worry Doctor we'll get you free." Standing again he turned back to the Captain. "Maybe if we concentrate phasers we can heat the...well whatever that shit is up enough to free her. Or we'll have to chisel her out."

"Knife," she finally choked out, reaching into her bag. She pulled out another knife similar to the one she'd thrown at the monster, and gritted her teeth. She slashed at her uniform, tearing off the sleeve and half of her pants, and pulled quickly, screaming in pain as much of the skin of her arm and some of her leg went with the tattered uniform.

She stood up in her sleeveless undershirt, still ripped open in back, and her standard-issue shorts, shaking hard and trying to keep conscious. Slowly, she brought the blade up to her hair, shearing the cemented half of her hair off almost to a buzz cut, dropping it and the hardened goo into her black bag. She bent over, hissing at the pain of her half-healed skin cracking and reached into the remains of her uniform top for her flask. She opened it and swallowed the last of it down before tossing the empty flask into her bag.

She kicked off her boots, peeled off her bloody sock, grabbed her black bag and stood up straight, her eyes still red. "We need to find Cassandra," she growled. "I'm hungry."

"Control yourself Doctor." the Captain said in a mild voice. "We need to locate the rest of the away team, and from the muffled noise through that slab of rock I believe at least part of my missing crew can be found on the other side if we can figure out how to get that stone to reopen..."

"Captain, I must caution, if we do find a trigger we could possibly lock ourselves in here, or in fact release something else from it's cage."

"We're running out of time," Nicole growled. "Are you going to just stand there and let them all die, or are you going to do something?"

"Don't push me Doctor," Kennit said. "You won't like what happens. Focus; what happened to close that door?"

Nicole huffed, the pain of her raw, open wounds making it hard to focus her thoughts. She wasn't healing as fast as she should have been, and that worried her. She focused on that worry, since it kept her more clear-headed than the hunger threatening to overwhelm her.

"It slashed my back, I fell, I landed on an uneven stone," she said, slowly, looking down at the floor. "Somewhere towards the left."

Kennit nodded, her attention shifting to scan the paving stones on the floor. Nothing appeared out of the ordinary at first, but then in the light of her torch she noticed a slight shadow marking an uneven stone set into the floor. Wiout touching the stone, the Captain withdrew her tricorder and scanned the floor.

"It appears to be a rudimentary trigger system. Fairly simple in design." Kennit said. "The stone is fully depressed, which means this one closes the door and there's another which opens it.. we just need to identify it." Tricorder in hand, the Captain began ton scan the floor ina systematic and slow process searching for another buried set of control cables and wires as she'd found attached to the first trigger stone. After a moment, she paused and said "Doctor..where is your med kit? I believe one of the Marine officers under Major Prime's command carries a first aid kit if you've lost yours, as you don't seem to be utilizing your own kit to tend your injuries."

Nicole looked around, her vision not impaired by the lack of lighting and scanned the rocks quickly. "This corridor is one-way," she said, her voice still holding a growl. "There's no trigger on this side, which means it has to be pressed on the other side of the wall. We need to get a signal through to the rest of the team."

Kennit rolled her eyes, aware that doing so would annoy her Chief Medical Officer and in so doing, keep the injured woman from slipping further into shock because she'd be more focused on being annoyed than on the pain of her injuries.. "Then lets get in touch shall we?" Kennit replied.

Tapping her comm badge, she gave it a try. "Kennit to Commander Torres. Commander Torres respond."

Mr. Torres.. Can you hear me now?

(She needs more than a medkit. She's been half skinned on her arm and some of her leg. The only reason she hasn't bled out is cause she's healed just enough to avoid it. And a dermal re generator would be a waste on her. Cass has something to help for it though.)
(OOC Kennit: Medkits have drugs. Maybe the Captain wants drugs ... :P)

(Also, Penny found the trigger, but Torres is hesitant)
(OOC Kennit: Penny found the trigger that's on the other side. but over where we are we're still a'looking for one that's on our side)

Abbot stood next to the Captain, "Captain, my Marines could try to breech this door." The Major pointed to specific areas. "Here, here, here, and here. No matter what we do, we better do it fast, and we better hope to hell they are clear on the other side"

"Before any attempt of that nature can be made, we have to scan the surrounding structure and try to determine whether or not these walls are load bearing or not., I don't want to bring the mountain down on top of us.."

A sound interrupted them, a muffled but unmistakable click followed by a deep grating sound as the door slowly swung open.

(OOC: and once more we jump a bit moving down to link the two portions of the thread here with Torres' team)

----

The light was starting to fade as the last of the webbing burned away, however being cut off on all sides gave them some assurance that nothing was about to attack them. As they swept their palm beacons across the floor, looking for the trigger tile, Cassandra slumped against the wall, her eyes returning to their normal violet color. She was exhausted and would need something to eat and a lot of sleep when they got back to the ship. She took her shoulder back off from around her neck and slid down to the ground to rest. As she landed, she let out a squeak of surprise as her rear end connected with the floor before she expected. Suddenly the uneven stone sank down and a section of wall across from her opened up.

It seemed to clean down a small side corridor. She immediately brought up her palm beacon and shined a light down it. It seemed empty, and surprisingly clear of webbing. "Commander," she said, "I think I found something..."

Miguel had been dividing his time by physically looking at the stone and scaning it himself. This reminded him of those old 20th century Earth movies. He then stepped up and was looking at the direction that the Counselor was indicating trying to see what it was that she was looking at. "What do you have?" he asked.

"A new corridor out of our dead end," Cassandra said, shining her beacon's beam of light down it along the ceiling. "And so far, no trace of webbing. If this is an undiscovered corridor, it could be the safest place in this temple."

"I found it!" Penny shouted, her light shining steady on a stone that was uniformly six-point-four centimeters above the others on the floor. "Or at least I think I found it. I'm assuming this would swing the wall back."

It didn't make sense to him. Even as he looked at the stone. "Or it could open up a bobby trap of some sort." he said as he started to run scans of it. But so far the scans were telling him that it was just what it seemed to be. He didn't see any signs of an active mechanism but that could just mean that it was so primitive that the tricorder wasn't registering it as one.

A spark of static burst from Torres' comm badge, followed by a distorted sound that might have been the Captain's voice..

Miguel heard the distorted voice. He wasn't sure if that was just him imagining the Captain's voice or if actually was. Either way his scans weren't revealing anything noticable traps connected to the stone. "I want everyone to brace themselves, I don't know what's going to happen when I do this." he said and after giving them a moment he pushed the stone.

A loud click came from somewhere inside the wall, followed by a deep grinding sound as the door swung open once more.

On the other side stood the Captain, a torch in hand with Dr. Anderson and.. Starfleet Marines?

Pursing her lips for a moment, Kennit said "I wasn't gone more than 8 hours..and you couldn't stay out of trouble that long?"

"Hey I have an excuse.... spiders... Big Spiders." Torres replied.

Team Hunter

Hunter's reply was filled static filled. ".....es! Fall ....ack to en...rance. Stay ..arp!" As he turned to see the second creature using Refern as a shish kabob. He waved the remaining away team members back. "Head back to the entrance! Stay sharp!'' As he fired at the second creature, striking it squarely in the chest.

The injured creature yowled, staggering back but not going down. It slashed at injury with its claws, keening in a mixture of pain and anger.

Arashi had turned up the power to his phaser to kill, ready to fire it at the creatures. "Damn, should have seen that one coming..." He said to himself, angry that a fellow crewmate was killed. He fell back to the entrance and watched his tricorder for signs of life other than their own.

Hearing his voice, the creature turned toward him, snarling as it focused on him... however the creature did not attack, injured it scrambled up along the rough stone walls, sharp claws finding purchase as it let out another loud, piercing cry..

Calling for others of its pack..

Alec and his team scrambled back away from the creatures. He had already lost one crewman and was going to do everything within his power to prevent another loss of life. As they made their way down the dark corridor lit only by their wrist lights, Alec realized they should have been at the entrance but weren't. In their haste they had taken a wrong turn. "Stop." He ordered. "We're going the wrong way. we should be at the entrance but were not."

In the darkness, it was hard to make out the other members of his team even with their wrist lights "This is wrong. This isn't the way back to the entrance. We'll have to find other way." Everyone stay on the lookout for any more of those.....creatures." He tried his combadge again, "Hunter to Torres. Miguel, do you read me?" FZZZZZ! BZZZZ!, FZZZZ! was his only answer. "Too much interference. Lets keep moving and we'll try again later."

As the XO turned, his flashlight swept across a pair of shapes lying in the center of the chamber, shrouded in a thick covering of an unknown substance. Just visible in the center of one, was the gleam of rib bone...

Alec lets his light linger on the shapes and particularly the exposed bone. Those creatures whatever they were had made a meal out of these unfortunate souls and who knew how many others. He was determined not to let his team suffer the same fate. "Listen up." he told them, "Keep your phasers out and ready to use. Look at everything, those creatures could be hiding anywhere ready to pounce."

Alec started to move forward stopped and looked at the rest of the team. "I'll take point. Mr. Tanaka you'll follow me, the rest of you follow behind him. Don't get bunched up too tightly, leave space between you and the person in front of you, in case you need to make any sudden movements. Stay about ten yards behind me. That way if something unfortunate happens to me, it will give you time to react and avoid it." Gone was his usual lightheartedness, it was replaced with quiet conviction. "Alright, lets go." With that he took the point and moved cautiously ahead.

As he cautiously moved ahead. Alec could see his shadow caused by the wrist lights of the other team members. He was quiet as he crept along, his eyes and wrist light swept the surrounding shadows.those creatures could drop from the ceiling or pop out of a wall for all he knew. He placed one foot in front of the other when he felt it, a slight give in one of the stone tiles. he waved the others back and even as he turned to get back to them he knew it was too late. A stone wall dropped between them. He was cut off!

Alec looked at the slab of rock that now separated him from the rest of the team. His wrist light played all over the slab, looking for a seam, or some opening he could use to open it but there was nothing to raise or even tempt hopes. "Tanaka! Owens! take the rest of the team and find the entrance." He called out. Turning, he used his light to explore where he was. It was another corridor but it seemed clear at least for now of any of the creatures that had attack them. "Well Alec, this is another fine mess you've gotten yourself into." He muttered, knowing Rhea would give him hell over this.....if he survived to see her again.

Willam had been bricking it ever since he was forced on this away mission. It had been a horrible few weeks and he was only just recovering from the monumental hang over of down time. He had too much fun and hadn't much taken anytime to care for himself. Now he found himself on an ancient planet wishing he had swatted up more on the particulars of sandy wastelands. In the first instance others had seemed to be enjoying their experience, expecting some major find.

He found himself split into a group with the first officer and a few other people he hadn't had the chance to speak with properly and yet again he was feeling out of his depth.

"WHAT THE FUNK IS GOING ON HERE" Willam exclaimed loudly as the stone wall fell and disconnected Alec from the group.

It was the first time he had spoken all trip and through the shocking turn of events everyone around just turned their attention for a split second to a Lieutenant who was clearly about to have a nervous breakdown.

He pulled himself together for a few moments.

"I'm sorry for my outburst. I think this place is starting to shake my nerves. Where is the Commander? Why are walls moving? And who in this universe thought it was a good idea to creature those spiders." He ranted nervously shuddering at the thought of those creatures.

He grasped at his comm badge to at least make contact with either the Victory or the other away team. Nothing was there. During the scuffle and frantic running the comm badge had vanished.

"COMMANDER!" Willam shouted. "Do you have a tricorder? You could try syncing your location with my tricorders transponder. At least that way we can keep a lookout for where we all are." Willam had thrown protocol out of the window and had clearly missed a few 'sirs' out of the equation.

Alec heard Monsoon's voice through the stone slab. His tricorder? He had forgotten all about it. "Hold on Mr. Monsoon." He replied evenly even as he hurried to sync his tricorder with the other officer as well as keep an eye out for any big, nasty surprises that might be creeping up on him. "I think I've got it. What do you see on your tricorder.

Willam was relieved to hear the Commanders reply and that he was still alive and hadn't been ingested by what ever the hell those creatures were. He had his tricorder in hand tapping at various settings trying to narrow down the distortion frequency to compensate for the amount of stone and ambient radiation surrounding the area. It was disconcerting to the Lieutenant that the only thing he could pick up in the form of life signs was Alec's signal from his tricorder on the other side of the rock.

"Commander! I have you on my tricorder.......I can't say for certain how long this will work for as there are a lot of distrubances affecting the signal."

"As per your orders sir we will try and make way to the entrance.......Just......Make sure you get yourself out of there. If we make it out we will make contact with the Victory. Maybe they have managed to find a way out." Willam said nervously.

"Very good Mr.Monsoon. Just make sure you get out. See if you can find the other away team and hook up with them as well. I'll look for a way out as well." Alec said with a confidence he didn't feel. However now wasn't the time to dwell on that, he needed to find a way out!

After finishing talking with Monsoon, Alec shined his wrist light down the dark corridor. It seemed clear and he didn't hear any of those beasties crawling around, above or behind him, Alec began a slow and cautious journey down the corridor, his eyes and ears working overtime to hopefully give him some warning of any of the creatures lurking about.

OOC: Hunter: Are there any side corridors?

OOC: Kennit: I dunno. I'm not quite there yet. Probably.. :-)

OOC:Hunter: Was thinking of something along the lines of Alien vs Predator where the pyramid changed every ten minutes. However in this case no changing (unless you want) just side corridors.

OOC: it's a complete city ruin built into the mountain. Lots of chambers and passages etc

OOC:Hunter: I seem to be the only one writing for team Hunter right now. So I will continue to do so and move forward.

OOC: Im in. I think. :)

OOC:Hunter:You are in! Excellent job!

OOC: Summers: When you're frightened and in doubt, send the Romulan in to smoke them out! ;)
