968 words; about a 5 minute read
Mission:
Plaga Navis
Location: Zack's Quarters
Timeline: A few hours after the officer's mess encounter.
OOC: A bit more of the kissy sexy stuff so read with care.
Penny was lying on her side, grinning, watching Zack struggle to catch his breath. "You okay?" she said calmly.
::Panting:: "That was...intense. Didn't think you had that in you."
Penny grinned. "Thanks!" she said, happily. "And thanks for taking the time," she said, sitting up and kneeling next to him. "Cass was telling me I was...what's the phrase? On the rebound? I thought I'd keep feeling sad, but I feel better. You were...different, but still fun. It's given me a lot to think about." She beamed at him.
"Think about? What is that suppose to mean?"
"Well I've only been with one other person so this is still rather new for me," she said, blushing slightly. "And I've never been with someone I've just met, but you seemed like someone nice and you clearly wanted to do it, so I took a risk, and now I have to kind of sift through it all and decide where to go with it. I mean...I don't even know if you want to see me again, or how you feel about things, but I don't want to talk your ear off with questions or anything." She paused and took a breath. "Sorry. I came up in the nursing track at Starfleet Medical and I kinda still think in analyses."
"Of course I want to see you again. You're funny, intelligent...and you do tend to talk too much, but I think that's nerves." Be pulled her closer to him.
She snuggled up to him, but tilted her head looking at him, confused. "Thank you," she said. She had anticipated a different reaction. Perhaps her estimates about him had been off. "I....am sorry," she said after an eternal three seconds. "I had the impression you had achieved your objective and that was that. I was afraid that would be the end of it, but I was enjoying it while it happened, I promise."
"Ah....you think this was what is called a "one night stand". Not the case...I enjoy your company....this," indicating the bed, "just was meant to happen I guess."
Penny took a minute to process that. "One night stand," she said, rolling the phrase around her tongue. "To describe an activity where we didn't do any standing? Humans have a lot of weird sayings don't they?" She giggled a bit and put her head on his shoulder. "Well, all right then. I'm sorry I misjudged you. I'll be more observant going forward." She began making mental notes, realizing this was going to be more complicated than she initially anticipated.
She reviewed their situation and did what she considered the only logical thing: she crawled back on top of him and kissed him, deciding a show of physical affection would be appropriate to show her feelings.
He kissed her back and teasingly bucked his hips under her. She squealed in surprise and giggled, then purred as she realized what she'd just reawakened. "Are you sure you can survive it?" she said, grinning and putting a hand on his chest, feeling his heart pound. She lifted her hips and lowered herself onto him and and moved her body gently, kissing him softly. "E aloha mai iaʻu," she moaned softly in his ear.
Zack gasped as she moved on him. He fell into sync with her movements and held her tight as they made love again. It didn't take long for him to finish as she shook with him, her own climax timed with his.
Penny kissed him and rested a hand on his chest and her chin on her hand, monitoring his pulse as he came down from the rush. When he seemed like he could focus, she bit her lip. "Can I ask you a personal question?"
"Sure."
"Have you ever been in love?"
"No....or not to my knowledge. I don't like labels like 'love'. I do prefer the company of beautiful women, like yourself, but I like to keep things loose and easy. Tomorrow you may catch the eye of another guy; that would be okay with me. If you'd like to get together every so often, that's also good for me." He looked at her. "I hope I have shattered any dreams you have."
"I don't dream," Penny said. "But I wasn't expecting you to be in love with me, that's why I decided to go with you. I wanted to see what this was like without that factor." She smiled up at him. "So thank you. I hope I don't accidentally ruin your expectations either."
"Any expectations I had were answered in this bed, sweetie." He leaned over and kissed her. "Sometimes people do things just for the fun of doing it."
"Fascinating," she said. "Well, thank you for the insight."
"Thanks for the insight? You doing a poll or something? Thought you liked it for what it was."
Penny tended to pick up on innuendo a bit better than other human expressions, but she was still 87% sure that "taking a poll" didn't count. "Oh I liked it fine," she assured him. "But this is a new experience for me, and I find new stuff fascinating and exciting." She grinned, then glanced at the chronometer by his bed. "Oh! I have to run!" she said. "I have a surfing lesson to get to." She leaped out of bed and began throwing her clothes on. "Thank you again!" she said, diving onto the bed and giving him a kiss before skipping out of his quarters.
He watched her leave. He enjoyed their time together. Penny was an interesting woman; some of the things that come out of mouth seemed strange. He looked forward to many more "meetings."
