Mission: We Will Take Care of You
Location: Conference Room

As Penny left the room, Sydney reached out and grabbed Zach's arm to stop him from following. He looked at her confused as the doors closed without him.

"All right," she said. "Now that Penny's got plenty of misinformation, what do we really want to do?"

Zach gave a wry smile. "Nice misdirect," he said. He looked over at the Captain. "You've worked with...these androids. Learned any ways to disable them that won't kill them?"

“I would not say worked with.” Kennit answered. “More .. provided data which made it clear they had two logical options. Discuss the situation with us and agree to acceptable terms to return to their world or undergo ..shall we say rapid unplanned disassembly.”

"If the androids are as confused as you all were by my gibberish idea, then they'll definitely come investigate what we're doing," Sydney said. "Maybe they'll assume we have a plan and try to figure it out, or they'll come to stop us in case we have a plan. Either way, we can separate them, get them one on one and maybe disable them."

“Currently unless we can restore control to the Victory the options available to us are quite limited.” Kennit said.

Sydney's hazel eyes flitted quickly between everyone's faces. "You really don't have any idea of what to do, do you..." she said, now sounding worried. "All right...we were schputting Penny to give the androids disinformation. Let's go from there. You have control of the ship, but the crew seem to have a plan to take it back, what do you do?"

“Analyze the available information and develop a counter action to stop them.” the Captain answered.

"Analysis will lead them down a foggy path, given Syd just fed them nonsense ideas," Zach said. "So they'll either follow us to see what we're doing, or they'll come after each of us. So we'll need to keep them busy wondering what we're doing while we ready the attack."

“So we create multiple diversionary teams working on restoring control to the ship, keep them guessing as to what exactly is being done while the primary team moves against them,” the Captain said. “The diversionary teams should be conflicting as well, work tasks which don’t make sense in order to confuse their programming.”

"Okay. So we can repair unbroken systems, create drugs to knock them out even though they wouldn't work," Sydney said, looking at Torres and Zach. "Keep them working on those 'contingency plans' until they're overloaded with conflicting data."

"I can have medical teams scouring the ship for 'supplies' to use," Zach said. "I think I know just the trick to pull..." he got a wicked gleam and smiled at Sydney, then nodded to the Captain. "On your orders, Ma'am."

Studying her hand, apparently focused on her thumbnail, the Captain gave a short nod of her head as she answered “Get to work..”

"Syd, you're with me." Zach said, and walked quickly out of the room and jumped into a turoblift, heading back to Sickbay.

Sydney nodded and followed him out quickly.

Kennit stood silently, waiting for the rest of the staff officers to depart before she got to work on her own response measures. Once the doors closed and she was alone, the Captain stood silently for a moment just gazing out the viewport into the empty black of space. Then, she gave a short curt shake of her head and turned away from the deceptively empty dark and entered a command into the console built into the conference table surface. With a shimmer and hum, the Victory's internal transporters locked onto her and beamed her away.

[Shuttle Bay, Main Deck]

Materializing on the main deck of the Victory's shuttle bay, the Captain was at least pleased to see that someone on the ship paid attention to her orders. A Valkryie was resting in launch position, the soft pulse of faint green energy just visible along the ship's nacelles telling her the fighter had been prepped as she'd ordered. Approaching the vessel, the Captain deftly opened one of the fighter's system access panels and entered her personal access code to gain access to the fighter's primary computer core. A cover panel slid back and out of the way, revealing access ports as well as a touch screen where data on the ship's systems status was displayed. Kennit placed her left hand flat against the opened access port, from her finger tips slender tendrils of advanced Borg technology smoothly extended and connected to the ship. She closed her eyes, she didn't need to physically 'see' what she was doing after all. Not now.

The fighter's communication systems came online, obedient to the commands being given from the connection she'd established. She did not however bring up any standard Starfleet or Federation channel. She instead, accessed a network system which had not been designed here, in this universe at all. It was instead, an advanced Borg communications network system which came from another dimension entirely. One which she'd never revealed, even though it was possible to use it here. One of the very few bits of technology from that hellish dimension where she'd been assimilated so long ago. While the Borg of this universe had not been able to access that other place, they had unfortunately gotten some data from her. Both through direct contact as well as access of Section 31 research facilities here.

One of the few technological advancements which they had been able to successfully replicate, was a communications network which was nearly instantaneous no matter how far the distance between contact points may be.

The warning she sent to every Section 31 station capable of receiving it would come through like a violent storm, a ringing, over-whelming scream of warning of the danger the Android ship represented.. At the same time, her message was received by another deadly force here in the Delta Quadrant.

A Borg Queen was broadcasting a powerful, urgent distress message. A cry which the Collective could not, would not ignore. A swift assessment passed through the Hive Mind, and a Cube was dispatched to intercept with the Android ship.

It only took a few moments for confirmation to be returned that the warning had been received. The Captain could not disconnect from the system however, she was caught - held in place by a connection established to the Borg here... holding them back by sheer force of will. Pushing back to prevent a ship from being dispatched to their location! The last thing she wanted was for a Borg ship to come to the Victory's location while the ship was disabled and controls locked out. Her will lashed back at the Collective. Fierce. Confident. Arrogant. Furious. Lethal.

Pain spiked through her skull. Pushed back and held at bay by the nanites in her blood and the implants which blended seamlessly throughout her body. Assistance at her location was not needed. The only requirement was that the Android ship be stopped. The instructions sent to the Borg ships now responding to her were simple. Upon arrival, exit the transwarp conduit and take up position within the system to observe the planet. No response to any communications attempt was to be made. In the event communication to her was lost, the planet surface was to be harvested. They threatened her home. Kennit would destroy their’s in response.
