Location: Agadon Reach Space Station

*Deep Space*

From the bridge of the cargo ship, the view was unimpressive to say the very least. This region of space was an empty waste. No star systems close, no asteroid fields to mine for resources. Not even enough gas molecules to make it worth the time to run a collection ship through the area to gather what they could. Most likely why it's builders had placed the space station in this empty part of space.

There was quite literally.. absolutely NOTHING here to fight over!

The station was just now becoming visible as the cargo vessel Vorchan began it's slow approach to the stations massive cargo stabilizers located on the forward section of the station. It's rotation could now be seen, a slow and stately rotation of the entire station along it's length, with it's cargo stabilizers mounted on separate support grids so that the stabilizers remained in one place without the rotation to provide gravity which would have made loading and unloading of cargo flat out impossible. As it was, without the effect of gravitational forces loading and unloading cargo proved to be a fairly easy task in guiding cargo containers to and from the waiting cargo ships.

"Open communications and request permission to enter stable orbit near the station. Advise Central Control that our holds are empty pending purchase of supplies." the Vorchan's Master ordered.

"Agadon Reach, this is Cargo Vessel Vorchan for Central Control. We are empty hold, and request permission to enter stable docking orbit pending completion of business and onload of cargo." said the ship's operations officer.

After a long moment, a distinctly alien sounding voice, heavily accented even through the ship's translator spoke. It was an odd sort of language, clicks and hisses mixing with the vocal tones overlaid by the computer's translation unit. "Cargo Vessel Vorchan, this is Agadon Reach Central Control. You are granted permission for stable docking orbit at position 14. We do not have available docking ring. You will have to transfer to the station via shuttle or flight pod."

"Acknowledged Central." the operations officer replied. "Also, please confirm the reservation made for Master Cartwright and one guest in Green Sector, level 1."

Again came the pause, followed by "Reservations confirmed. Funds transfer for a 5 day stay has been completed. Security codes will be transferred for Master Cartwright upon his arrival on station."

"Very good. Thank you Central. Vorchan out."
