Mission Summary

Following the successful completion of a 2 year refit cycle, the U.S.S. Victory returns to active duty as part of Task Force 38, serving as part of the Delta Exploration Initiative.

While on routine patrol, long-range sensors scan a planet designated Ithauri. Ithauri is the 3rd world in it's system and home to a race of humanoid beings who call themselves the Hakari. The Hakari civilization is relatively advanced, and has developed pre-warp space flight capabilities allowing them to have colonized their planet's two moons. There are indications of preliminary colonization work being started on the 5th planet in the system.

Sensors indicate that something drastic has changed within the Ithauri civilization, upon closer inspection it is determined that the Ithauri have somehow obtained weapons which are substantially more advanced than would be expected due to natural technological developments.

Moving in under cloak to investigate, the crew of the U.S.S. Victory determine that somehow, the Ithauri have obtained weapons which are identical to those used on Earth during the first decades of Starfleet (OOC: ie ENTERPRISE canon level weapons such as first development hand phasers, etc.)

This has resulted in catastrophic events on the planet surface, with civil wars breaking out between the major political powers.

The crew of the Victory must determine how the Ithauri obtained the Earth-developed technology, and in the process help fend off a world war which could result in the deaths of billions of innocents.
